Package: diff
Version: 2.8.1-11
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I frequently want to compare the differences between two versions of
the same LaTeX file, where small changes in a sentence, combined with
reflowing the text within an editor, yield changes to an entire
paragraph, as far as diff is concerned.

It would be most ideal if somehow diff could be asked to treat
newlines the same as whitespace, and combined with -b, just print out
the "line" that has changed instead of the entire paragraph.

Thanks.
