Package: grep
Version: 2.6.3-3
Severity: wishlist

Errors concerning dangling symbolic links are annoying, e.g. with
grep -r. Thus grep should have an option to ignore them entirely.

Note: the user may not be responsible for such dangling symbolic
links, because they can occur when installing packages (such as
in bug 603595, which apparently won't be fixed).
