Package: amavis-ng Followup-For: Bug #252083 I found the same behaviour at my site. If your information is accurate, then amavis interprets the incoming mail right as it should, but fails to escape the single dot on further delivery to second postfix instance, as it should do according to RFC2821.
[...] - Before sending a line of mail text, the SMTP client checks the first character of the line. If it is a period, one additional period is inserted at the beginning of the line. [...] Since amavis acts as a client while sending to the second postfix, it should conform to this. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL (charmap=ISO-8859-2) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
