Package: dvbstreamer
Version: 2.0.0rc1-3
Severity: normal
Thanks for packaging dvbstreamer! I just installed it from experimental, and ran
setupdvbstreamer -A ~/.azap/channels.conf
which responded with "14 Services available on 6 Multiplexes".
I type dvbstreamer and enter the command mode; I type help for the commands,
and then quit.
At that point the application hangs hard and must be killed with a kill -9 PID.
Strace shows:
rt_sigprocmask(SIG_BLOCK, [INT], [], 8) = 0
ioctl(0, SNDCTL_TMR_TIMEBASE or TCGETS, {B38400 opost isig -icanon -echo ...})

ioctl(0, SNDCTL_TMR_STOP or TCSETSW, {B38400 opost isig icanon echo ...}) = 0
ioctl(0, SNDCTL_TMR_TIMEBASE or TCGETS, {B38400 opost isig icanon echo ...}) = 0

futex(0x7f01548479e0, FUTEX_WAIT, 9024, NULL <unfinished ...>
+++ killed by SIGKILL +++
Does this look familiar? Why FUTEX_WAIT on a quit? What are we waiting for?
I realize this may be an upstream problem unrelated to packaging, in which case
feel free
to close.
Cheers,
Dave
