If yes, try also to disable/remove it. Here, this bug is always reproducible now. I have not a LDAP server. If I disable the spell checking, the problem is still here. It required a typing speed about 4 or 5 character per second. It is a current speed when the address to enter is frequently entered for an intensive utilization of claws-mail. But Claws-mail is the alone program that have this slowness (only for address entering). I had seen another program with this slowness, it was OpenOffice writer but now this bug is fixed. The problem is not apparent for a speed of one character per second. Now, I am ending a test with an enter of the marie word in the "To:" zone. For 55 tries, I got 32 errors or 55%. The errors are always on the first characters of the address. After a pause of about one second during the stream, none errors occurred. So I think that the problem in the code is in the treatment of the beginning of the entering of the address. It seems that a left shift is generated after the first character is typed (as with the left arrow key). Note that my Radeon video card is a bit slow with 1:7.5+8 release xorg from Squeeze.
