autofs5 5.0.3-3
Debian Lenny

I experience exactly the same problem. I have diferent systems in
diferent archs (i386, mips and armel) and all of them show the same
behavior.

Tried configuring autofs passing -t 120 for timeout, configuring timeout
in /etc/default/autofs a nothing: Automount mounts the directory but
never umounts it. Tried with diferent timeouts and diferent directories.

I'm using indirect maps (the standard way) and automount reports in
syslog that the timeout is correct (120) but never logs nothing about
trying to umount any mountpoint.

Stopping autofs doesn't umount any map and I have to umount it manually
(and umounts ok without any problem).

I see that this bug is some quite old. ¿anybody is looking for this?
