So, I was right, this upstream commit fixes the problem. I have
backported it, and created an updated package [1]. If you want to give
it a try, you can compile the source package or use the one I
compiled [2].

As I am not a Debian Developper, it will not enter Debian until someone
uploads it for me. I some DD comes across this bug, I need sponsoring!
