Same problem on my X60S thinkpad laptop. Wakeups-from-idle per second : 653.9 interval: 10.0s Power usage (ACPI estimate): 213.0W (0.2 hours) (long term: 14.8W,/3. 1h)
uname -a Linux x60s 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Sat Oct 30 22:47:19 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux KDE4 battery monitor seems to report correct values.
