Ok, it's clearer now.I just wandered a bit around the bug, and found out why i went to this specific URL. I read through the mail notification, after bigon updated the status, and used the provided link, to:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=519614From here, the links back to the list of bugs in "Package: libnotify; Maintainer for libnotify […]" have no dist= at all. So *perhaps* defaulting to unstable would be a better behavior, as our main entry point to solve a bug is uploading to this suite.
Once I finish my newest set of patches, I will add documentation which verbosely explains what is happening.
