A packaged version of sqliteodbc 0.87, which fixes all these bugs is at http://people.debian.org/~lmamane/sqliteodbc/ . AFAIK, the only change it would need before upload would be either make it a proper NMU (say it is a NMU in changelog) or a proper MU or a proper hijack (change version numbers and maintainer in debian/control). Oh, and check against newer Standards-Version, too.
