Package: rrdcached
Version: 1.4.3-1
Severity: normal

I see rrdtool now uses cairo for pdf, eps, svg and png creation.
(unfortunetly cairo do not have direct gif output).

I suppose cairo uses default compression level (6).

Also information about that png is only for debuging purpose somehow
wories me:

PS. I think default level (6, as in gzip), is sufficient. I used optipng
and it managed to shrink image by next 35% down. But it is too CPU intensive I
suppose.

6 is good compromise beetwen compression and cpu usage. 9 anyway do not bring
considerable improvement. And having compression is good to have to save disk,
disk IO and bandwitdh.
(most machines have fast CPU, bot slow disks).

I think this bug should be closed.
