Hello Nicolas, we are in the week-end. I suspect that this bug has something to do with the error management system invented by a contributor who has ported pymecavideo to Windows. He imports early a module Error, intended to make error reports easily. Unfortunately it has not been thouroughly tested, and has already caused early crashes, with no usable error reports. I disable this module for Gnu/Linux architectures, as we already have easier bug tracking systems than in Windows. The newest uploaded release of the package should close this bugreport.
