Package: libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev Version: 2.22.1-3 Severity: normal
When I try to compile from source package using gdkpixbuf, it fails saying: bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.la: No such file or directory libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.la' is not a valid libtool archive This file is indeed not shipped in the -dev package. I googled this and found an Ubuntu bug report stating that there is the same problem in that distribution (LP #665768). The bug report in LP has a proposed patch which adds the la files to the .install file. If this file should be provided by the package, it would be great to have this fixed to make the -dev package usable.
