We read
Pure Perl version of "Data::Dumper" escapes UTF-8 strings correctly only
in
Perl 5.8.0 and later.
Well, please also mention there how to turn off escaping, so we can see
the raw UTF-8.
How would you like if instead of ASCII, one could only see hex values?
That's how frustrating it is.
Sure the pros know how to do it, but mention how right there on the man
page, for the schmoes. Thanks.
For now one must send the output to ascii2uni(1).
