Hi, this is my first time contributing to the Debian bug tracker so bear with
me if I get
things wrong. :)

I recently upgraded my Lenny box to Squeeze after the call for upgrades on the
mailing lists.

The only thing I really compile is XBMC, so I had automake installed for that
purpose.
I never payed attention to what automake version I had on Lenny (or before I
ran into
problems with it for that matter), but I'm guessing I had 1.10.

Anyway, basically, the same simple problem described above is still active:

/usr/bin/aclocal points to /etc/alternatives/aclocal which itself points to
/usr/bin/aclocal-1.10 which no longer exists on the system.
Same issue for automake-1.10

Unlinking the /etc/alternatives/aclocal and /etc/alternatives/automake and
linking them
back to respectively /usr/bin/aclolac-1.11 and /usr/bin/automake-1.11 solved my
problems.

Hope this helps!

Cheers

axel
