Package: gscan2pdf
Version: 0.9.29-1ubuntu1
When I accidently hit the space bar in gscan2pdf immediately after a
scan, focus is left on the toolbar, and it activates the "Clears all
pages" icon, which then clears all pages. There is no prompt asking
"Save first ?", and it is non-obvious that pressing space will trigger
this action.
This unexpected behaviour is particularly frustrating when a number of
pages have been scanned, and the space bar gets pressed by accidentally
placing a book on the keyboard.
To recreate:
1. Scan a number of pages in gscan2pf by clicking on the toolbar icon
"Scan Document" (this gives focus to the toolbar)
2. When finished scanning, close the Scan Document dialog by clicking
'Close' (this restores focus to the toolbar)
2. Press the space bar accidentally
3. Suppress annoyance and submit bug report.
Fix:
The same confirmation dialog that appears if you try to exit the
application without saving a document should be called by the "clear all
pages" action, to prevent accidental data loss.
