I am having the same problem trying to use rezound to open a .flac file recorded with gnome-sound-recorder. However, I cannot open the file in `snd` either: "can't translate: can't translate /home/hedges/Desktop/music/home-on-the-range-1.flac (Flac header: unknown (0x0) data format)" with some funny characters in there.
