Hi *,

I just experienced problems with my DNS which actually were caused by
/etc/resolvconf/update-libc.d/squid

What happened? The reload of the squid config caused a core-dump which got
saved to CWD which was
/lib/init/rw/resolvconf/interfaces
when it got called by the update-libc.d/squid script. So later on when
resolvconf
concatenated the textfiles in that directory, binary data ended up in
/etc/resolv.conf, breaking the local resolver.

I simply prepended the invoke-rc.d call by
cd /tmp

Yes, I know, my squid troubles need attention, however they shouldn't bleed
through to do further damage...

Thanks!

Daniel
