SIL International has been designated as the ISO 639-3/RA and is currently working on a standard draft. More information at http://www.sil.org/iso639-3/ There is probably no urgency yet to include ISO 639-3 codes in the iso_639.xml file we use, but this should be kept in mind for further reference when this will become a standard.
