The same is for sid's version 9.0.2. I'm trying to input cyrillic utf-8 characters, but they just don't appear. In previous version from squeeze (8.4.4, i believe) it worked fine. Also it seems to be debian-specific bug, as on Arch Linux psql 9.0.2 works as expected.
