Package: unattended-upgrades
Version: 0.62.2
Severity: important
The default values included in Unattended-Upgrade::Allowed-Origins do not work,
especially for security upgrades, and is broken in several places:
Unattended-Upgrade::Allowed-Origins {
"${distro_id} stable";
"${distro_id} $(distro_codename)-security";
1. The $(distro_codename) returns "n/a", which breaks any other origins
that use it.
2. There is no such thing as stable-security or testing-security. The archive
name does not exist.
3. There does not appear to be a way to auto-update only Debian security
updates without auto-updating everything. The only Origin that works for
security.debian.org would be "Debian testing-updates" (if using testing). The
apt.list could only include the security site, but that would break aptitude,
preventing you from using it to upgrade the other stuff manually.
