infon-server is a (the only) package using the metainit system, which
might have been a good idea but did not catch on. This would be a bug in
metainit, it seems. I guess I will remove the metainit stuff from the
infon-server package and remove metainit. Or remove infon alltogether,
there was not any upstream activity for a long time and I’m not aware of
any users.

Thanks for the report,
Joachim
