on a transparent xfce4-panel (4.8, not yet in unstable), gajim systray icon doesn't have a transparent background while others have it. A screenshot is attached to show the result. I found some traces of similar bugs in 2006 but they're supposed to be fixed so I guess it's not the same thing. I'm not sure it's python related since wicd tray icon is displayed correctly.
