The default C++ compiler in unstable recently changed to g++ 4.0, which by default links programs against libstdc++6. However, libavifile is still linked against libstdc++5, which makes it unusable with g++ 4.0. REcompiling it myself fixed the problem, but I'd rather get the correct version from apt.
