Hi. A prerelease of ckermit 211-6 is at http://nessie.mcc.ac.uk/~ianb/debian/ Rather than package the bleeding edge source, I've backported the IF fix to the current stable release. It passes ftp://kermit.columbia.edu/kermit/scripts/c-kermit/iftest Let me know if you have any problems, if not I'll ask my sponsor to upload it soon. > My current makefile target is: > > linux+openssl+zlib+shadow+pam > > with -DOPEN_SSL097 > > defined. Is this acceptable for the Debian package or would separate > packages with and without openssl be required? Alas, the debian package cannot have any crypto enabled, as it is in non-free. I wanted to move it to non-US/non-free, but non-us is dead now, so unless debian + lawyers thrash it out so we can have crypto in non-free, ckermit is stuck without crypto.
