Hi. A prerelease of ckermit 211-6 is at

http://nessie.mcc.ac.uk/~ianb/debian/

Rather than package the bleeding edge source, I've backported the IF
fix to the current stable release. It passes

  ftp://kermit.columbia.edu/kermit/scripts/c-kermit/iftest

Let me know if you have any problems, if not I'll ask my sponsor to
upload it soon.

Alas, the debian package cannot have any crypto enabled, as it is in
non-free. I wanted to move it to non-US/non-free, but non-us is dead
now, so unless debian + lawyers thrash it out so we can have crypto in
non-free, ckermit is stuck without crypto.

Ian.
