Looking a bit for lamba.text, I find one here: /usr/share/texmf/omega/lambda/base/lambda.tex (part of tetex-extra) Not knowing much about tex, I have no idea what that means :) However, what I did was apt-get upgrade from a working version of tetex, which failed to configure because it started to use a program "aleph" in my PATH that wasn't the correct one. Removing that from the PATH does not help, though, maybe this is related, maybe not. (I did check for other tex-related env variables, but did not find any. I tried with this: env -i DISPLAY=localhost:0 PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin apt-get -f install but that still failed, so I guess it's not env-var-related. -- Package-specific info: Please read and follow the instructions in the first lines below the text: "-- Package-specific info:". Thank you. Press ENTER to continue If you report an error when running one of the TeX-related binaries (latex, pdftex, metafont,...), or if the bug is related to bad or wrong output, please include a MINIMAL example input file that produces the error in your report. Don't forget to also include minimal examples of other files that are needed, e.g. bibtex databases. Often it also helps to include the logfile. Please, never send included pictures! If your example file isn't short or produces more than one page of output (except when multiple pages are needed to show the problem), you can probably minimize it further. Instructions on how to do that can be found at http://www.latex-einfuehrung.de/mini-en.html (english) or http://www.latex-einfuehrung.de/mini.html (german) ################################## minimal input file ################################## other files ###################################### List of ls-R files -rw-rw-r-- 1 root staff 79 Aug 8 23:45 /usr/local/share/texmf/ls-R -rw-rw-r-- 1 root staff 91 Aug 8 23:45 /usr/local/lib/texmf/ls-R -rw-rw-r-- 1 root users 793 Aug 8 23:45 /var/lib/texmf/ls-R lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 29 Aug 8 23:45 /usr/share/texmf/ls-R -> /var/lib/texmf/ls-R-TEXMFMAIN -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages tetex-extra depends on: ii dpkg 1.13.10 Package maintenance system for Deb ii gsfonts 8.14+v8.11+urw-0.2 Fonts for the Ghostscript interpre ii tetex-base 2.0.2c-8 Basic library files of teTeX ii tetex-bin 2.0.2-30 The teTeX binary files ii ucf 2.001 Update Configuration File: preserv tetex-extra recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
