The watchfile for gitg seems to be incorrect and not pick up all upstream releases. It currently reads: version=3 http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gitg/([\d\.]+)[02468]/gitg-(.*)\.tar\.gz debian uupdate But when you have a look at http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gitg/ it seems to be case that they do not seem to distinguish between even-number releases and odd-number releases. So they had proper releases 0.0.1 0.0.3 0.0.5 and 0.0.7 that the watch file did not pick up.
