An unbootable system essentially makes all software unusable :-) But exactly that was the reason why I said it breaks other software *in non-obvious ways*: an unbootable system or a case where, e.g., setup-storage aborts, is obviously broken, whereas this easy-to-realize-problem did not seem the case here. For me, at least, this is what makes the difference in the context of FAI. Thanks again for doing all the actual work, Michael
