Thank you for the follow-up (and sorry if I did not do that on my part),
I do not have right now a FreeRunner with an updated Debian, so I can
not test it, so I completely agree in closing this bug.

Please also note that when submitting the bug I completely forgot to add
that the out-kernel ar6000 driver written specifically for the Openmoko
GTA02 WiFi card was not so reliable.
