examples/simple/debconf/FAIBASE contains the following entries which
correspond to debconf settings that don't exist anymore in squeeze:
IMHO the simple-examples should work for more than just one specific
Debian release. Instead they should - at least IMHO - provide
support for old-stable, stable and testing (and maybe even unstable
:)) as far as possible.
Therefore I'd vote for keeping the settings - because they don't
cause any harm - at *least* until squeeze became old-stable. Maybe
we should add an according comment to the
examples/simple/debconf/FAIBASE file instead?
Would this be fine for you?
These settings don't exist anymore in FAI trunk, and indeed there is no
harm in keeping them in the 3.4 branch. So as far as I'm concerned this
bug can be closed.
