I guess I could not do better atm than what was already suggested
in the upstream tracker

ah... bad me - I think I just forgotten about it and have been living
happily after, thus do not recall how it was fixed in scikits.learn but
it was -- it builds fine in experimental for a while -- last debian
release was 09 Jan 2011.  I guess I will just close it here with a
message:  it does not FTBFS now, e.g.

well, to be fair -- there are other warnings and errors from sphinx
during build but they do not result in FTBFS
