Package: rinse
Version: 1.7-1

Im running nis on my machines.
When calling this on a 64bit machine
  rinse --directory /tmp/basefiles.shNechPB --distribution centos-5 --arch amd64
I cannot login into this machine without a password any more. This
worked before calling rinse. I tried to debug and found that in
   /usr/lib/rinse/centos-5/post-install.sh
this command
   chroot ${prefix} /usr/bin/authconfig --enableshadow --update

causes the problem. So, even it's called inside a chroot environment it
causes harm to the host system. After calling /etc/init.d/nis restart
my host machine works as before and I can login without a password
again.

I guess it's more a bug in authconfig, than in rinse itself, but it
also causes harm to unreleaded software (the host system). Therefore
we may want to raise the severity to important.
