Package: darcs Version: 1.0.3-1 Severity: normal When I try "darcs get" for a repository that contains a file name that only contains of upper case letters (e.g README, COPYING), darcs crashes and does not finish downloading the repository. This happens on a vfat file system, that is not case-sensitive. However, there is no other file named "README" or "readme" or something like that.
Transcript folows: --------------------- /media/usbdisk1/src$ darcs get ~/src/sbcl Copying patch 83 of 83... done! Fail: README-0: renameFile: does not exist (No such file or directory) --------------------- The file in the repository is named "README", not "README-0". I can reproduce the bug for all repositories that contain such files. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-k7 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages darcs depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libcurl3 7.14.0-5 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgmp3 4.1.4-6 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libidn11 0.5.18-1 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libncurses5 5.4-9 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libreadline5 5.0-10 GNU readline and history libraries ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7g-1 SSL shared libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages darcs recommends: ii ssmtp [mail-transport-agent] 2.61-4 extremely simple MTA to get mail o -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
