Package: inkscape Version: 0.48.1-2 Severity: normal I just trie to open a PDF via iceweasel, and iceweasel offered to open it in inkscape, which it preferred over evince. While it makes sense that inkscape can open PDFs, for usability purposes it certainly shouldn't become the default handler for PDFs in preference to a PDF viewer like evince.
