gmime2.4 was released a long time ago. We reported bugs against all the rdeps around 1.5 years ago. Right now there are only 4 packages still using gmime2.2, but for all of them there are either patches available, new upstream releases that support gmime2.4, or support is optional. I've bumped their severity to serious. I think we can remove gmime2.2 now, and that will motivate the maintainers to finally fix their packages.
