I am new to Debian but i dont understand this. pm-utils and lmt are (according to the pm-utils maintainers) two tools that provide the same functionality. Hence the conflict in their package. How can lmt recommend or even suggest the installation of a package that's incompatible with it? >From my point of view they should either both eg. provide laptop-mode, if a dependency like that is needed for other packages, or they should both have conflicts on the other. What good is the lmt suggestion for pm-utils when upon trying to install it im gonna be asked to remove lmt? Furthermore since the maintainers of pm-utils tell me that they shouldnt be both be used at the same time? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
