Package: sane-utils
Version: 1.0.21-9
Severity: important

Hi,

if saned and openbsd-inetd are starting at the same time, no scanner can
not be found over the network.

Changing the line 6 in /etc/init.d/openbsd-initd from

# Should-Start: $syslog

to

# Should-Start: $syslog saned

and invoking

inssrv openbsd-inetd

fixes the problem by changing the boot order.

The problem can also be reproduced by stopping both openbsd-inetd and
saned and then first starting openbsd-inetd and then saned.

Sincerly
Robert
