Package: ppp
Version: 2.4.5-5
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

I just read pppd/plugins/passprompt.c to see how to write a promptprog and
discovered that on read failure (line 73) an out-of-bounds write is done in
line 85.

Can be fixed by moving line 85 after the if in line 96.

Greetings
Timo
