Please note that origin-ubuntu should only be used when the bug originated in Ubuntu (i.e. Ubuntu bug report forwarded to Debian, or similar). Even though using pkg-config (as my patch does) involves a much bigger patch, I think it's better because it does a better job of insulating against future problems.
