(lib)eggdbus has been deprecated and replaced by GDBus. libgnome-keyring is the last remaining package with a build-depends on libeggdbus-1-dev. While configure.in has a dependency on eggdbus-1 >= 0.4 I can't find any dependency in the actual code, so I guess the pkg-config check can safely dropped.
