Package: libslang2 Version: 2.2.2-4 Severity: normal
I've got the same symptom described here http://www.midnight-commander.org/ticket/2452 I use midnight commander in urxvt (this also occurs in xterm) and it thinks that i use a slow terminal, so every time it's closed, the "Verbose operation" option is turned off. This causes the loss of valuable information during the movement of files, such as progress bar, speed and ETA. They have closed the bug because it's a slang issue http://mailman.jedsoft.org/pipermail/slang-users-l/2011/000722.html $ stty -a | head -1 speed 4000000 baud; rows 42; columns 169; line = 0; $ mc -V | head -1 GNU Midnight Commander 4.7.0.9 rxvt-unicode (urxvt) v9.09 - released: 2010-11-13 ciao skizzhg -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libslang2 depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-11 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib Versions of packages libslang2 recommends: ii libpng12-0 1.2.44-1 PNG library - runtime libslang2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
