You will be happy to hear that supporting UIDPLUS is already done and waiting for be merged in by the upstream maintainer for the next stable release.
This will prevent us from APPENDing and the searching for the UID and it will prevent us fudging with mail headers if not needed for servers that support UIDPLUS. Sebastian
