But anyway, this configuration parameter is documented [1], and its documentation clearly states that it should not be enabled if Apache already handles compression. [1] http://www.dokuwiki.org/config:gzip_output Now, there are two cases when a wiki admin is modifying the configuration: * he may be editing the configuration file directly: in this case, he is supposed to know what he is doing, which includes reading the documentation about the settings he modifies; * he may be using the web interface: in this case, he will see a link to the documentation.
