Dear maintainer,

with the newest upload of python-serial, the symlinks from
/usr/lib/pythonX.X/*
to /usr/shared/pyshared/pyserial are missing. This probably has
something to do
with switching from dh_pycentral to dh_python2. The result is that the
package
is unusable unless manually corrected.

In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:

  * debian/rules
   - don't delete contents of /usr/lib/* for python-serial (LP: #715766)
