Package: Grub2 version 1.98
I did a clean install of debian 6 Squeeze on my netbook.
After the isnstallation i had only 2 grub items
- debian
- and debian single mode
The other os-s had not been recognized.
I did a upgrade-grub
And grub did found 2 more OS-en
- XP-loader (on /dev/sda1)
-Microsoft XP Home Edition (on /dev/sda2)
Again Puppy Linux was not found.
In the past i have Puppy Linux copyed from USB to HD (/dev/sda8)
And added vmlinuz an initrd.gz to the menu.list in grub
These files are located in the root / directory (the same as by debian,
only
the name slightly differs)
