Excuse me Olivier but you are just plain wrong with this statement. Even not being a DD, you can download any Git repo from alioth and prepare patches. As you are part of the php-pkg group on alioth, you have write access too, so you could (for example) create your own branch and ask others to have a look, and do a "git merge olivier-branch" (or also, pull from any URL you'd like).
