Upstream maintainer here. I added the conflicts with laptop-mode-tools because we have our own power management hooks that integrate with and are configurable in the same way as the rest of pm-utils, and those hooks conflict with laptop-mode-tools when both are installed. -- Victor Lowther LPIC2 UCP RHCE
