Yes, I've read the guide. It just doesn't feel right to me to use the name libfooX-dev when libfooX-dev and libfooY-dev cannot be installed at the same time. But as you said, it's probably mostly a matter of taste. Hope you'll find a sponsor, I didn't when I packaged Jansson 1.3.
