Hello,
I would just like to add that the last part in this README concerning
the implicit addition of the '.db' extension in the pam_userdb module
hit me quite hard this week. Could pam_userdb(8) perhaps add an
appropriate line? The 'db' entry under OPTIONS looks to me like the
prime candidate:
db=/path/database
Use the /path/database database for performing lookup. There is
no default; the module will return PAM_IGNORE if no database is
provided. Please note that the extension '.db' will be
appended implicitly.
