Hi same thing here, since some months ago I cannot print most documents on my network-printer Brother HL-5250DN which has worked fine before.
I get the same error message, unknown COMMAND Q; printed on the printer every time. Usually works if I print directly from acroread but not through the browser or from evince or similar pdf-viewers.
